愛知県警察音楽隊は、昭和24年1月に名古屋市警察局音楽隊として発足し、以来70年以上にわたり「県民と警察を結ぶ音のかけ橋」として広く親しまれてまいりました。現在は、カラーガード隊「フレッシュ・アイリス」を含め40名の編成で、警察署の開催する各種イベントや市町村における公共的な行事等で演奏・演技を行い、交通安全や地域安全などについて県民の皆さまに呼び掛けています。

　行進曲からジャズ・ポップス等幅広いジャンルの演奏に加え、「フレッシュ・アイリス」によるストレート・トランペットによる演技が好評を博しており、年間の演奏回数はおよそ200回にも上ります。

　世界のお巡りさんコンサートには、第７回、９回、10回と計３回参加しています。

The Aichi Prefectural Police Band began as the police band for the prefectural capital of Nagoya in January 1949. For over 70 years, the band's musical performances have served as a beloved link between prefectural residents and Aichi Prefectural Police.

Currently, there are 40 members of the band including those belonging to its color guard, "Fresh Iris." The Aichi Prefectural Police Band puts on concerts and performances at events held by prefectural police, as well as at public functions in various municipalities, while doing its part to promote traffic and regional safety among prefectural residents.

Along with the band's extensive repertoire ranging from marches to jazz and pop songs, Fresh Iris' fanfare trumpet performances are especially popular, being performed roughly 200 times a year! The Aichi Prefectural Police Band participated in the seventh, ninth, and 10th World Police Band concerts.
