神奈川県警察音楽隊は、昭和25年２月に日本吹奏楽発祥の地である横浜で発足しました。音楽を通じて犯罪被害防止や交通安全等を呼び掛け、県民と警察を結ぶ「音のかけ橋」として多くの方とふれあいを深めています。また、昭和49年３月に全国の警察に先駆けて編成したカラーガードは、凛々しく統制の取れた演技とあふれる笑顔で広報活動の一翼を担い、県民の皆様に元気をお届けしています。

　県内各地での演奏活動をはじめ「定期演奏会」や「演奏とドリルの祭典」、「マリーンコンサート」等を開催するほか、YouTubeにおいて動画配信も行っています。

　これからも県民の皆様に警察活動に対する深い御理解と御協力を賜りながら、犯罪のない安全で安心して暮らせる地域社会の実現を目指して幅広い活動を続けてまいります。

The Kanagawa Prefectural Police Band was founded in February 1950 in Yokohama, the birthplace of Japan's concert band culture. Using its concerts to promote crime prevention and traffic safety, the band deepens connections between the residents of Kanagawa and police. The color guard, the first of its kind to be organized for police events, got its start in March 1974. With the sharp and controlled movements of their performances paired with bright smiles, the members play an essential part in PR activities while bringing joy to residents.

The police band performs throughout the prefecture, and holds seasonal concerts, "Concert and Drill Festivals," the "Marine Concert" and other events. The band also distributes its performance videos on YouTube.

The band continues its mission to achieve crime-free communities where residents can live safely and peacefully across the region by promoting greater understanding of and cooperation with police activities.
