大阪府警察音楽隊は、演奏を通じて各種犯罪被害防止や交通事故防止などの警察広報活動を行い、「府民の皆様と警察との掛け橋」としての活動を行っております。その演奏活動は年間約200回を数え、各警察署主催の行事における演奏のほか、自治体や地域住民等との連携による各種イベント・キャンペーン等の行事へも積極的に参加し、安全で安心なまちづくりを目指しています。

　レパートリーは、クラシックからジャズ、ポピュラーなど幅広く、中でも女性警察官で編成するカラーガード隊(愛称:フレッシュウインズ)を交えた華やかなドリル演奏は、「見る音楽」として各地でご好評をいただいております。

The Osaka Prefectural Police Band plays at police PR gatherings of all kinds, such as crime and traffic accident prevention events. Forming a bridge between the people of Osaka Prefecture and its police force, the band performs as many as 200 times annually.

Besides playing at events held by local police stations, the Osaka Prefectural Police Band takes part in events and campaigns arranged by municipal governments and prefectural residents, aiming for safe and peaceful communities across the region.

The band's repertoire is wide, ranging from classical music to jazz and pop. The colorful drills carried out by the color guard consisting of female police officers, nicknamed "Fresh Venus," are highly acclaimed across the prefecture as "visual music."
